A colour course for painters, printmakers, graphic designers, architects and anyone interested in colour in a professional or personal capacity.
This is essentially a practical course though we’ll also be looking at examples of work that illustrate the use of colour in art and design; both in an historical and contemporary context.
Course aims: through a series of practical exercises we will explore distinct aspects of the grammar of colour. This step-by-step approach will increase your understanding and enjoyment of colour by introducing to you the underlying principles of colour harmony and colour behaviour.
Materials will be provided to get you started.
